Check Your Lights and Optics November 2015 Edition

| December 2, 2015 | 0 Comments

November’s “Check Your Lights and Optics” results:

Total dead optics found: 0/11

Total dead weapon mounted lights: 0/4

Total dead handheld lights found: 1*/6

Total dead safe lights found: 0/3

Two interesting things this month :

  1. The battery in my Olight M18 Striker didn’t last the entire month. I had to replace it on Thanksgiving day. It gets dark at about 4:30 here, and between the increased darkness and regular use the battery died before I usually replace it. I used my Nitecore MT1C until I could get home; always have a backup light.
  2. Based on a reader’s suggestion, and thanks to your support via the Amazon affiliate program, I was able to purchase the Nitecore Tube last month. I am still evaluating it, but the size is convenient and its high output mode is good for the size. I’ll write a longer review after I can test it some more.

How’d you do this month?
