Check Your Lights and Optics: September 2016 Edition

| October 3, 2016 | 0 Comments

September’s “Check Your Lights and Optics” results:

Total dead optics found: 0/11

Total dead weapon mounted lights: 0/4

Total dead handheld lights found: 0/5

Total dead safe lights found: 0/3

I’m bracing for either the IKEA motion sensor light in my top nightstand drawer or the Meprolight Mepro Tru-Dot optic on The She-Shepherd’s AR15 to die. The IKEA light runs on a 6 (6!!!!) AAA batteries and gets a lot of use. The Meprolight optic uses AA batteries. Both seem to be more sensitive to idling than the other lights / optics in the house.

How’d you do this month?
