Check Your Lights and Optics: January 2016 Edition

| February 1, 2016 | 2 Comments

January’s “Check Your Lights and Optics” results:

Total dead optics found: 0/11

Total dead weapon mounted lights: 0/4

Total dead handheld lights found: 0/6*

Total dead safe lights found: 0/3

The asterisks is due to a preemptive battery swap on my Olight M18 flashlight. This happened about mid-month. I didn’t seem to use my flashlight any more than usual. I have four rechargeable batteries for these lights, with two charging at any given time (the other is in The She Shepherd’s M18). I rotate the batteries I use, so either I messed up on the rotation or I have a potentially dying battery.

Something to keep track of, especially in the face of the low light force on force class I’ll be taking this weekend.

How’d you do this month?
