Check Your Lights and Optics, November 2017 Edition

| December 6, 2017 | 0 Comments

November’s “Check Your Lights and Optics” results:

Total dead optics found: 0/10

Total dead weapon mounted lights: 0/4

Total dead handheld lights: 0/3

Total dead safe lights: 2/3

Total dead headlamps: 0/3

This month two of our safe / container lights were dead. One of our motion activated safe lights died. I put in two rechargeable AA batteries and we were back in business.

The second dead light was the IKEA Dioder. This thing chows down on batteries. I would be super pissed if I didn’t have rechargeables, and the longer we own these the more I understand why IKEA put them on clearance. It takes six AAA batteries, which is nuts considering how little light it emits.

How’d you do this month?
