Solo Active Universal Tablet Sling Bag for EDC Review
For the last three years I’ve carried an SBR or PDW in a bag every where I’ve gone with a few notable exceptions. Flying, going into federal buildings with metal detectors, and a half dozen other times such as attending SHOT Show or going to a professional sporting event.
I’ve used the Adidas Rydell bag (my review) the majority of the timeĀ over the last 18 months. I also carry a pretty stocked trauma kit in there, as well as a lot of things like batteries, a spare flashlight, and accessories I need for work.
The Rydell bag is unneccessary for much smaller SBRs / PDWs such as my MasterPiece Arms 930SST SBR. There are times where a bag of its size, no matter how normal / not-tactical the bag looks, is not appropriate.
Sometimes I need something smaller. Most of the time it’s when I am going to a crowded location with a lot of my friends. We all eat dinner together sometimes, and it’s not uncommon for there to be 8 – 12 of us in a crowded restaurant. Other times I might need even more discretion than normal.
Here’s my review of the Active Universal Tablet Sling bag by Solo. For $28 delivered it’s a great option for vSBR/vPDW carry, or perhaps a handgun.
