Yukon Outfitters Overwatch Tactical Sling Bag First Impressions Review

| August 26, 2016 | 1 Comments

I am a big believer in one-strap bags worn across the body. They offer a good mix of retention, support, and accessibility. Of all the one-strap bag types (messenger bag, satchel, laptop bag), my favorite is the sling backpack.

At $30 – $50, the Overwatch by Yukon Outfitters is an overtly “tactical” bag with some nice features for the price — if you’re willing to accept some limitations.

A very, very big thank you to you, our audience — this bag was purchased thanks to the revenue you help generate based on your visits, buying things through our affiliate program with Amazon, and by watching our videos on YouTube. Thank you!

I’ve noticed a rash of these types of bags. Especially featuring the weird Y style compression strap at the top. It almost feels like they are trying to knock of from some one else’s product. Or, “tacticool” affect.

I’ve come to similar conclusions: it’s an okay bag layout, but not good for weapon edc.
